Tughlaq is a 1964 Indian Kannada language play written by Girish Karnad. The thirteen-scene play is set during the reign of Muhammad bin Tughlaq. In 1970, it was enacted in English in Mumbai. 'Tughlaq' is Karnad's second play written in 1964, The play was originally written in Kannada and then translated into Kannada by Karnad himself. It is all about the life of Sultan Muhammad bin Tughlaq who has ruled in India in the 14th century.
